Dr. Sonya Graci is a specialist in sustainable tourism, corporate sustainability and environmental management and has over 16 years experience in these fields. Dr. Graci is currently an Assistant Professor at the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Ryerson University. She’s also the Director of Accommodating Green, an environmental consulting agency that works with organizations to integrate sustainability in their business operations. Dr. Graci has a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo in Geography and has authored two books and several industry reports and academic articles. Her current book focuses on sustainable tourism development in island destinations. Dr. Graci has worked in several countries developing sustainable tourism strategies including Canada, China, Indonesia, and Honduras. Her main areas of interest are partnership development CSR, Aboriginal ecotourism development, community capacity building and public consultation.
