Caribbean Tourism Organization

Ms. Gail Henry has been functioning as the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Sustainable Tourism Product Specialist since 2009. There she manages a sustainable tourism programme for the benefit of the CTO’s thirty-three (33) member countries. She was the Senior Tourism Advisor for the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Trinidad and Tobago from 2002 – 2007. Ms. Henry also managed the Aruba and the (former) Netherlands Antilles’ sustainable development programme of the United Nations Development Programme, Trinidad and Tobago from 1995 – 2001. Her academic background includes a BSc. Economics (Hons.) and an International MBA with a tourism management specialization from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad. In 2007, she was awarded a CTO Foundation Scholarship which assisted her in pursuing the MSc. degree in Tourism Marketing at the University of Surrey, UK.
